Introducing Samuel Serup
New PhD Student at CEPDISC
Samuel recently joined CEPDISC as a PhD Student.
In his project, Samuel will investigate how social media might fuel ethnic discrimination. He is particularly interested in examining how majority members react when exposed to ethnic minorities online. Additionally, he is looking into how debates on identity politics on social media is shaping perceptions of ethnic minorities. He plans on examining these questions experimentally. Samuel will be supervised by Kim Mannemar and Lasse Laustsen.
Samuel holds a BSc in Political Science from AU and as a part of the 4+4 program, he will be completing his master’s degree while starting on the PhD project.
