Jenny is a PhD candidate at the Department of Philosophy at Lund University. Her current research project focuses on the concept and wrongness of discrimination, as well as the ontology of social groups and social categories.

During her time in Aarhus, she will be working on a paper discussing a particular account of the ontology of social categories. Her paper will discuss whether the theory can account for injustices that can occur when someone is being perceived as belonging to a certain category and this has the effect of blocking certain actions. She also hopes to start a paper arguing for a wide account of socially salient groups that can capture all the relevant groups we should be concerned about in the discrimination debate.
