Nicholas Haas receives a best paper award for his paper “My History or Our History? Historical Revisionism and Entitlement to Lead", co-authored with Emmy Lindstam. The International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP) is behind the award. 

In the paper, Nicholas Haas and his co-author show that inclusive historical narratives that emphasize marginalised communities' positive contributions to the nation increase marginalised individuals' willingness to pursue leadership roles.
