Xu Chen is a DPhil Candidate in Philosophy at Southwest University in China. Xu takes an interest in the ethics of new and emerging biotechnologies and her DPhil research focuses on the ethics of utilizing neurointerventions in crime prevention, investigating whether and under what conditions such interventions might be justified. Her aim is to handle the issue within the rights framework.
