Introducing Malte Jauch

Guest researcher

Malte Jauch is currently working as fixed-term lecturer in Political Theory at the Department of Government of the University of Essex. His research interests lie at the intersection between philosophy and economics. He is particularly interested in questions of free time and working time regulation.

The purpose of his CEPDISC visit is to think about the value of rationality and the role of irrationality in causing and exacerbating discrimination. He is trying to develop a clearer sense of the place rationality should occupy within the larger framework of a liberal theory of justice.
