Introducing David Mathias Paaske
Visiting PhD

David is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Philosophy at The Arctic University of Norway. His current research project focuses on the relationship between climate justice and animal rights, and whether there are challenges in taking animal rights seriously in the context of human-induced climate change.
During his time at Aarhus University, he will be working on two papers. The first will discuss what including animals in the framework of climate justice means for the ethics of climate change mitigation. The second paper will investigate the implications for the types of mitigation measures we can pursue if we take the considerations of animals seriously.
Welcome David!
