Discriminatory Attitudes Against the Unvaccinated During a Global Pandemic
New publication in Nature by Michael Bang Petersen in collaboration with Alexander Bor (Department of Political Science, Aarhus University & Democracy Institute, Central European University) & Frederik Jørgensen (Department of Political Science, Aarhus University).
Individuals not vaccinated against COVID-19 face an amount of prejudice and discriminatory attitudes similar to immigrants and drug-addicts. Vaccinated people are even motivated to curtail the freedom of speech and other fundamental rights from the unvaccinated.
Across all inhabited continents of the world, people show prejudice and discriminatory attitudes towards individuals not vaccinated against COVID-19. This is the result of a global study from Alexander Bor, Frederik Jørgensen & Michael Bang Petersen, which has just been published in the journal Nature.
