Crown Prince Frederik Center
for Public Leadership

The objective of the Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership is to conduct international research at the frontier of knowledge to be applied in and by public organizations. Through research and by educating the public sector leaders of tomorrow, the center’s researchers aim to improve the public sector for the benefit of citizens and society.

The interdisciplinary center will be anchored at the Department of Political Science, which is already home to a world-class research environment in the field of public administration. Crown Prince Frederik also completed his Master’s degree at the department. 

In addition to lending his name and reputation to the center, The Crown Prince inaugurated the center on 23 May 2018 to mark his 50th birthday.  

The center is sponsered by Købmand Herman Sallings Fond and the director will be Professor of Political Science Lotte Bøgh Andersen.
