To complete the PhD study programme in Social Sciences and Business Anne-Sofie Greisen Højlund presents her PhD dissertation, giving a public lecture followed by a defence

The subject of the lecture is:

“What is it for a (democratic) state to act paternalistically, and on the basis of which circumstances and beliefs about its citizens can a state implement paternalistic policies consistent with, or conducive to relational equality among its citizens?” 


The title of the dissertation:

Why (not) paternalism? Perspectives from relational egalitarianism
