Research collaboration

Department of Political Science collaborates in research with both private and public organisations. This results in new research-based knowledge for the benefit of the rest of the society. The department also carries out a a number of public sector consultancy services such as evaluations, analyzes and investigative work for municipalities and ministries.

The Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy

The Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy conducts research into university, innovation and research policy, thereby increasing the knowledge of the role of research in society. The centre also carries out a number of government-related tasks in the form of evaluations and analyses.

King Frederik Center for Public Leadership

The objective of the King Frederik Center for Public Leadership is to conduct international research at the frontier of knowledge to be applied in and by public organizations. Through research and by educating the public sector leaders of tomorrow, the center’s researchers aim to improve the public sector for the benefit of citizens and society.

Student collaboration

Department of Political Science offers the Public Policy study programme with the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus BSS. This includes an annual case competition for the master's degree students in collaboration with a public or private company. The department also offers the Master of Public Governance degree programme in collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark.
