The main objective of MoRRI is to “provide scientific evidence, data, analysis and policy intelligence to support directly Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DG-RTD) research funding activities and policy-making activities in relation with Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI)”. The project develops a set of indicators for each of the RRI keys and carries out a comprehensive empirical programme across all EU member states to populate the indicators with up-to-date data. It also includes an extensive case-study programme to examine the benefits of RRI and understand the pathways from responsible practices to economic, social, and democratic impacts.

MoRRI is a service contract between the EU and a consortium of European universities and organisations led by Technopolis Consulting Group.
