The Gender Summits are a series of interconnected action based conferences held across the globe since 2011 under the overarching theme “Quality Research and Innovation through Equality”. The aim of the Gender Summits is to make gender equality in research and innovation the norm, and to embed gender as a primary dimension of quality.

On 28 and 29 April 2016 the 8th Gender Summit (GS8) will be held in Mexico City. The theme of the GS8 is “Science without borders: Improving impact by interlinking gender, geographic, disciplinary and educational dimensions”.
