STAGES Guidelines

The STAGES Guidelines are one of the results of four years of efforts and experiences of the European FP7 funded project STAGES - Structural Transformation to Achieve Gender Equality in Science.

The overall purpose of STAGES was to launch strategies for structural change in research organisations addressing the many and interconnected layers of the persistent problem of gender inequality in science. The Guidelines comprise contextual information about the action plans implemented in five European research organisations and offer a set of experience-based recommendations in six broad fields of action, exemplified by a selection of relevant practices. The Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy, Department of Political Science at Aarhus University has been the Danish partner in the project.
