More women becoming professors at University of Copenhagen
Last year 20 % of the professors at University of Copenhagen were females – at Aarhus University it was only 16 %.
According to the Journal of the Danish Medical Association (Ugeskrift for Læger) University of Copenhagen has successfully increased the proportion of female professors from 15 % to 20 %.
Last year the proportion of female professors at Aarhus University was only 16 %, which is below the national average. Therefore, a study has been initiated to analyse why so few women are becoming professors at Aarhus University
