PROCEED (“Programme of Research on Opportunities and Challenges in Engineering Education in Denmark”) is a research alliance between Aalborg University, Aarhus University, Roskilde University and the Technical University of Denmark. The research alliance is aimed at reforming Danish engineering education on the basis of extensive research and analyses related to current challenges and opportunities for engineers and engineering education. The alliance is coordinated by Professor Andrew Jamison, Aalborg University.
PROCEED is financed by the Danish Council for Strategic Research for the period 2010 to 2013. The Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy (CFA) is particularly active in subproject B, which is focused on curriculum development and student learning outcome. Subproject B uses a variety of methods, including survey intervention, to assess engineering students’ learning outcome.
