Ea Høg Utoft wins Emerging Gender Researcher Award
Postdoc at CFA Ea Høg Utoft wins Emerging Gender Researcher Award.
On 31st of May, the esteemed journal Gender, Work & Organization announced Ea Høg Utoft as one out of two recipients of its newly instated Emerging Gender Researcher Award. The recognition includes a £500 reward.
”There is no one else, I would rather wish to have my work recognized by than the Gender, Work & Organization community. The fact I am able to count myself as part of this community, feeling accepted and included by people I admire and from whom I have learned so much, is a reward in itself,” Ea Høg Utoft comments.
Ea Høg Utoft’s research centers around issues of gender equality, diversity and change interventions in knowledge-intensive organizations, including universities, as well as gender and power dynamics in knowledge production.
She has published two articles in Gender, Work & Organization:
- ‘All the single ladies’ as the ideal academic during times of COVID?19?.
- Maneuvering within postfeminism: A study of gender equality practitioners in Danish academia.
Ea Høg Utoft has been with CFA since 2017 and got her PhD degree in 2020 for her dissertation “Motivation, organisational gender equality work and the postfeminist gender regime: A feminist approach”.
