Profile

My research focuses on causal inference in contexts where interventions are spatially connected and temporally dynamic. I focus on developing methodological approaches that combine stochastic intervention frameworks with Bayesian spatial models to account for spillovers and interference. A central part of my work involves utilising Earth Observation data and machine learning to capture local context in data-scarce environments. Substantively, I study the effectiveness of development aid, the long-term consequences of armed conflict, and related political economy dynamics, with an emphasis on how methodological choices affect credible estimation in complex settings.
