Research
My research investigates the reasons behind the variance in the progressiveness and extent of climate policies across different countries. I delve into the role that a country’s socio-economic structure plays in this context, and how it influences differences in party competition, ultimately shaping climate policy. A crucial part of my investigation involves understanding the strategies political parties employ to mobilize voters from diverse social groups, and the compromises they make to secure a place in the government.
