Mehdi Mozaffari

Biography

Mehdi Mozaffari is professor emeritus at the Department of Political Science, Aarhus University, Denmark.

Education

Mozaffari is Dr. d’Etat en Science Politique from Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Mention: ‘Très bien’ (Feb. 1971)
PhD (D.E.S.) Paris 1 (1967)
Diplômé de l’Ecole Nationale des Langues Orientales (Moyen Orient et Arabe littéraire), Paris (1967)

Master in Political Science, University of Tehran (1963).

Positions

Mozaffari has been lecturer at Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
Professor and director of the Centre for International Studies, University of Tehran
Professor at the Department of Political Science, Aarhus University
Head of the Centre for Studies in Islamism and Radicalisation (CIR), Aarhus University (until January 2013).
Mozaffari has taught at different universities (Tehran, Paris, Geneva, Grenoble, Catania and Aarhus).
He has been a visiting scholar at MGIMO/Moscow and senior fellow at Harvard University.
