Why is Danish Research Characterized by Gender Inequality?

The Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, is addressing the problem of gender inequality in Danish academia.

The articles describe how Danish universities are characterized by a massive underrepresentation of female researchers. Experts on the subject are interviewed and some of the recent research on gender inequality in academia is presented. Furthermore the situation in Denmark is compared to the rest of Scandinavia.
