DTU Case

Since 2008 the Bachelor of Engineering program at the DTU has been based on the international CDIO initiative (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) guiding educational development and quality assurance. This case will focus on a selection of initiatives to promote education quality from within the CDIO initiative at DTU.

The analysis will seek to answer the following questions:

  • How has CDIO influenced actual classroom activities, student learning strategies, and the use of different teaching, feedback and assessment methods?
  • Is there systematic evidence that CDIO practices have affected learning, educational and employment outcomes?
