The Ambivalent Partisan: How Critical Loyalty Promotes Democracy
Guest lecture by Howard Lavine, Associate Professor at University of Minnesota and leading international researcher on political attitude formation and effects of media messages. Lavine is co-author of a recent book with the same title, published in the series 'Political Psychology'. The lecture is open to all.

Integration: Both Denmark and Sweden are committed to ensuring that their citizens enjoy high levels of freedom and equality, but the two neighbours have chosen very different paths towards the tolerant society. The question is, can the two countries learn from one another? The EU-financed Accept Pluralism conference to be held in Stockholm on 18 February this year may well provide the answer.
