Bachelor's degree programme in Social Science
Bachelor in Social Science
You don’t have to be a member of a political party to study political science. However, you do need to have a vivid interest in the society around you and a desire to regard things from several angles. The Danish media love to describe this degree programme as the “nesting box of power” because a number of graduates from the department have subsequently thrown themselves wholeheartedly into political careers or achieved top jobs as civil servants.

After three years of studying political science, you can call yourself a Bachelor and continue with a Master’s degree programme to get an MSc (Political Science). Some students choose to supplement their Bachelor’s degree with a main subject in social science. Combined with a subsidiary subject, this qualifies you to teach at upper secondary schools, folk high schools or training colleges.
